Each module has several worksheets that are ready to be used with clients immediately.
MODULE 1: Learn the theory behind IPNB without getting bogged down or overwhelmed in the neuroscience and complexity of the theory. If you are using Applied Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB-A), there are a few of the theoretical underpinnings that are important to understand. I've broken it down into easy to understand chunks that are directly relevant to clinical work.
MODULE 2: Applied Interpersonal Neurobiology relies on therapeutic skills that are relevant to any therapist-client relationship. These skills include presence, attunement, resonance, and clinical intuition. Although these are known to be a healing factor in the therapeutic relationship, there isn't education or instruction on the development of these skills as a clinician. By focusing on building the therapist's foundational skills related to IPNB-A, there will be a stronger therapeutic alliance and better client outcomes. There will be actionable skills for the therapist to build presence, attunement, resonance, and clinical intuition that can be used right away in the therapy office.
MODULE 3: Neural integration is the main outcome of IPNB-A that is related to resilience, harmony, well being, and positive clinical outcomes. This module covers the basics of neural integration, including the various types of neural integration, how to assess for deficits in integration, and simple strategies to improve a client's neural integration. It all sounds complicated but I'll guide you through step by step. By the end of this module, you'll be able to identify the impairments in neural integration and begin using skills to move toward integration.
MODULE 4: This module is the link between the theory of IPNB and the actions therapist take in sessions to support their clients and build resilience. It translates theory into clinical action and supports the development of the therapist's ability to see clinical scenarios from the viewpoint of IPNB-A and building resilience. Understanding the theory of resilience is crucial to moving clients toward being flexible and adaptive in the face of challenges.
MODULE 5: This is a deep dive into the trauma, attachment and resilience from the brain-based perspective that is infused throughout IPNB-A. This knowledge is crucial for cracking the code on behavior and getting the focus off changing behavior and onto healing.
MODULE 6: Although Polyvagal Theory is a distinct framework for understanding trauma, it blends so well with IPNB-A and provides an extra set of skills and deeper understanding for the therapist. This theory is important to understand for the interventions that are part of IPNB-A. Actionable strategies for implementing Polyvagal Theory in session will also be provided so that therapists can immediately start using these skills to build resilience.
MODULE 7: Having the right tools to assess a client's clinical presentation is crucial for developing effective interventions. Tailoring assessment of the domains of integration, family resilience, and the parent-child relationship is necessary to know where to start. These assessments will include how to assess resilience using the Adult Attachment Inventory, Sandtray, and Clinical Interviews.
MODULE 8: And...here we have the peak of the mountain we have been climbing! Interventions that are tailored to a client's deficits in neural integration and based on building resilience in an individual and the overall family. Specific skills related to resilience will be explored and workbooks for children, teens, adults and families will be part of this module to bring clients and families more skills to build resilience and move forward from difficult experiences!
If you were to hire me 1 on 1 to coach in this area- to help your business prosper and help your cliente grow- I charge $300/hour.
With this course you are getting over 18 hours of 1 on 1 coaching from me- to you- delivered via Video. If you hired me alone- that would be over $5,000 USD.
On top of all the Video Support- you are gaining direct access to me, as well as other like-minded professionals through our private Facebook Support Group.
Another HUGE bonus is I am doing 8 weeks of live coaching starting in September to help you stay accountable and move through the course in a timely and effective manner.
If you were to purchase all of these things separately the cost would be well above $10,000 USD for this kind of training and support.
Welcome to the Course
